Red Roses Public School

Over in D-Block, Palam Vihar, you’ll find Red Roses Public School. It’s been sitting there for a good while now. The area is quite settled, with lots of houses and people going about their business. We start our day when it’s still cool out, usually getting the classrooms ready before the first bus arrives. Palam Vihar has its own pace, and we just fit into it. The school building isn't anything like those modern glass towers you see in other parts of the city. It’s a solid, practical building with plenty of windows. We spend a lot of time on upkeep. There’s always a door that squeaks or a lightbulb that needs changing. It’s just the reality of running a school in D-Block. We don't have a team of people to handle the talking; usually, if you call, you just get whoever is closest to the phone. We focus on the basics. Chalk, boards, desks, and enough space for everyone to move around. The playground area gets a lot of use, so it’s often a bit worn down, but that’s just how it goes. People around Palam Vihar know where we are. We don’t need a big map to show them. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day of the week, year after year.
