Parsons Brinckerhoff

We are based in C-505, Sujjan Vihar, which is right in Sector 43 of Gurgaon. This part of the city has grown so much lately, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. Parsons Brinckerhoff has been operating from this apartment-style office for a while now. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which is probably why we like it. There’s no cold, glass lobby or security guards checking your ID every five minutes. It’s just a place where we sit down and handle our business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens, trying to make sure everything is on track. Gurgaon can be quite a stressful place with all the high-rises and traffic, but inside C-505, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We don't have any scripted speeches or fancy brochures to hand out. If someone asks what we do, we just tell them straight. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the balcony has a few dusty plants, but it’s our space. We focus on the practical side of our projects, making sure the small details don't get lost in the shuffle. It’s hard work, but we enjoy the routine of it. We are just local people working in a local office, trying to do a decent job every day of the week.
