We are located out on Damdama Lake Road in the village of Bhondsi. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city areas, and the road can get a little bumpy depending on the season. Tratec Engineers is basically a big workshop where we handle heavy-duty stuff. You won’t find any marble floors or glass partitions here. Instead, there is a lot of steel, welding equipment, and large machines that take up most of the floor space. The air usually smells a bit like ozone and burnt metal, which is standard for an engineering firm. We have a yard outside where we keep some of the larger materials and finished pieces. Most of the guys working here live nearby in the village or come in from the outskirts of Gurgaon. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, except for the noise we make inside the plant. We spend our days looking at blueprints and making sure the measurements are correct. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s important, and we take pride in getting the details right. Sometimes local farmers or other business owners stop by to see what we’re building. We don’t have a big sales team; we mostly just deal with other companies that need specific engineering work done. It’s a long day out here in Bhondsi, but there is plenty of space to work and we don’t have the same traffic.
