Jmd Engineering

If you head over to New Colony More, you will find us at SCO-21 22 where Jmd Engineering is located. The shop is usually filled with the sound of metal clicking or some machine running in the back. We have been here for a bit and the walls have that look of a place where actual work gets done every day. There is usually some grease on the floor and tools scattered on the benches because we are always in the middle of a project. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit, that’s for sure. We spend our mornings looking at drawings and trying to figure out how to make parts fit together just right. Sometimes things don’t line up on the first try and we have to go back and do it again, which is just part of the job. The location at the corner of the colony makes it easy for people to drop off stuff they need fixed or fabricated. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making the office look pretty. We would rather spend that time making sure the machines are running and the orders are getting finished on time. It gets pretty hot in the summer with all the equipment going, but we just keep the fans on and keep moving through the tasks. We aren't doing anything fancy, just standard engineering work for the people who need it.
