Dlf Laing O'Rourke

We are over in Sushant Lok Phase-1, specifically at House No-64 in Block C-2. If you’ve spent any time in Gurgaon, you know how much construction is always going on. DLF Laing O'Rourke has been part of that scene for quite a while. Our office is more like a house that’s been converted into a workspace. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, with blueprints rolled up in every corner and muddy boots by the door. We spend half our time here and the other half out at various project sites. It’s a lot of coordination. The phones are always ringing with someone asking about materials or deadlines. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. The kitchen makes decent tea, though the biscuits are usually stale if you don't get them on Monday. We have a big table in the center where we spread out large drawings and try to figure out logistics. It can get pretty stressful when a deadline is approaching, but we usually manage to keep our cool. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from the noise of the building sites. We’ve got a small garden area in the front that we don't take care of as well as we should. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just focus on getting the structures built.
