Parsons Brinckerhoff India Pvt Ltd has set up shop at 1257 Block C 2 in Palam Vihar. Gurgaon has grown so much around us lately, but this little corner remains fairly steady. Our building is easy enough to find once you get into the block. It’s just a regular house that we use for our operations. Most days it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone call. We handle a lot of the planning and back-end stuff here. The air conditioning struggles a bit during the peak of summer. Because of that, we usually have a few fans going too. It's not a corporate skyscraper, which suits us just fine. We like being able to walk out and grab a chai from the corner stall without taking an elevator down twenty floors. Our team has been together for a long time, so we don't need many formal meetings to know what's going on. We just talk across the room. There’s a lot of paper everywhere, mostly maps and charts that we need for our daily tasks. Sometimes the courier gets lost looking for the specific house number. We often have to step outside to wave them down from the gate. It’s a simple life here in Palam Vihar. We do our work, chat with the neighbors, and head home when the sun goes down. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week without too much extra fuss.
