Meenakshi Public School

We’re also located in Sec-10A, which is a busy little corner of the city. Meenakshi Public School is a place where we just get on with things. There’s no big mystery to it. We wake up, get to the building, and start the day. The halls are usually full of the sound of feet and people talking. We spend a lot of time on the phone with parents or fixing things that got worn out. Being in Sec-10A means we’re part of the local community. We see the same milkman and the same vendors every day. Our building is practical and serves its purpose. We don't spend much time thinking about branding or marketing. We’re more concerned with making sure the fans work and the syllabus is being followed. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so everyone is usually looking forward to the end of the day. There’s a certain way the light hits the playground in the evening that’s actually quite nice. We’ve had some of the same teachers for a decade now, so it feels a bit like a second home for many of us. We don't have any grand speeches to give. We just provide a place for kids in this sector to spend their day. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes from Monday to Saturday. There is always a long list of chores to finish before we can finally lock up.
