Laxmi International School

If you’ve ever driven down Kasan Road in Manesar, you know it’s a busy stretch. That’s where Laxmi International School is located. It gets quite dusty with all the trucks passing by, so we’re always dusting off the desks and benches. It’s not a quiet place, but there’s a rhythm to it. We open up early and the staff starts arriving before the sun gets too hot. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know how the building feels in the winter and the summer. Manesar has changed a lot, with more factories and buildings going up everywhere. We just stay focused on what’s happening inside our walls. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the office and the classrooms. Sometimes the water pump acts up or a light bulb needs changing, and we just deal with it. We don't have fancy brochures with made-up words. We just tell people we’re on Kasan Road and they find us. It’s a practical place for local families. We keep the gardens as green as we can despite the heat. It takes a lot of effort to keep a school running smoothly in an industrial area like this. Every afternoon when the kids leave, there’s a bit of silence that finally settles over the place. Then we do it all again tomorrow, making sure the gates are ready for the morning rush and everything is in its place.
