Out here in Gurgaon, specifically at U 36 64 in DLF City Phase III, things move fast. Lahmeyer International India Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of all that energy. Phase III is a maze if you aren't used to it, but we have made our home here. The office is a functional space. We don't have marble floors or a big reception desk. It’s just desks, computers, and people working. Gurgaon is always under construction, which is fitting since we deal with engineering and infrastructure. You can hear the city humming all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall around the corner. It is a very urban experience being located here. We have been in this spot for a while, seeing the buildings go up around us. The 36 block is fairly easy to navigate once you get your bearings. We spend our hours coordinating with different teams and making sure the technical details are right. It is a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a flashy office. We just need a place that works so we can get our tasks done. The commute can be a pain with the Delhi-Gurgaon border traffic, but that is just part of the life here. We are just a group of professionals doing our bit from this DLF address.
