K.L.Mehta Dayanand Public School

Our school, K.L.Mehta Dayanand Public School, is situated right in Sector 16. It’s a busy place from early morning until the afternoon bell rings. You’ll see parents dropping off kids and teachers rushing in with their bags full of notebooks. The building itself has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We have classrooms that get pretty lively when the lessons are going on. The hallways can be a bit noisy during the breaks, but that’s just what happens when you have a lot of young people in one place. We’ve got a playground where the kids spend their lunch hour running around and getting some fresh air. The staff room is usually a mix of people grading papers and drinking tea while they talk about the day’s lessons. It isn't a fancy private academy with marble floors, just a regular school where we try to teach the kids what they need to know. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk, jammed lockers, and keeping the schedule running on time. Sector 16 is a good location because it's easy for families in the neighborhood to get here. We see the same faces every day and you get to know the families pretty well after a while. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized for the students and their parents. It’s a full day every day here.
