Our school is right in the middle of Bhim Nagar. Indira Gandhi Sr. Sec. Public School has been around for quite a bit. It’s a familiar spot for everyone living in this part of town. The building itself is simple, nothing too flashy. We have the senior secondary classes here, so the students are a bit older and more serious. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready and the teachers have what they need. It gets quite busy in the mornings when everyone arrives. Bhim Nagar is a lively area, so there’s always something going on outside. We try to keep the focus on the books inside. Sometimes the playground needs a bit of weeding or a fresh coat of paint on the walls, and we get to that when we can. It’s a community effort, really. Many of our staff members have been with us for years. We know the families and the siblings who come through. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, but we make do with what we have. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are prepared for their futures. There’s no secret formula, just hard work and showing up every day. Life here follows the school bell. It’s a honest way to spend the day, working with the youth of Bhim Nagar. We're just here doing our job.
