Our office for Il & Fs Engineering & Construction Co Ltd is up on the first floor of the Paras Down Time Centre. We are located in Sector 53, right on the Golf Course Road in DLF City Phase I. It is a busy part of the city with lots of tall buildings and construction projects going on all the time. We have been based in this unit for a while now. Most of our days are spent going over engineering plans and dealing with construction schedules. The Golf Course Road area is always changing, so being right here helps us keep track of things. It’s a standard office space, nothing too special about it, just desks and papers and people working. We have a lot of stuff to get through every week. Sometimes the elevators in the centre are slow, but we manage. Being in Sector 53 puts us in a good spot for reaching different sites. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate talk thing; we just focus on the building work and the engineering side of things. It can be a bit noisy outside with all the traffic on the main road, but inside we just get on with it. We’ve got a team that knows the technical side of construction pretty well. People come by for meetings or to drop off documents quite often. It’s a practical place to work from and suits the kind of large-scale projects we handle.
