We've been here at the National Media Centre right off NH 8 in Gurgaon for quite a while now. It's a busy spot, but once you get inside the gates of Holy Mount School, things feel a bit different. Usually, the mornings start early with the yellow buses rolling in and the kids jumping out with their bags. We spend most of our time just keeping things moving. Some days the hallways are louder than others, especially when it's raining outside or there's a break between classes. The teachers here mostly focus on getting through the day's lessons and making sure everyone has their notebooks ready. We don't have fancy office staff writing big speeches; it's mostly just us making sure the classrooms are clean and the fans are working when it gets hot. Being so close to the highway means there's always a bit of noise from the traffic, but we've gotten used to it over the years. The parents stop by the office to ask about fees or exams, and we just talk to them like neighbors. It’s not a complicated place. We have a playground that gets a lot of use, even if the grass isn't always perfect. Mostly, it's just a local school where kids come to learn their math and science and then head home to their families in the afternoon. We've seen a lot of faces come and go through these doors.
