Holy Infant School

Holy Infant School is tucked away in F Block, right near the Columbiaasia Hospital here in Gurgaon. Being so close to a hospital means the area is usually busy with cars and people moving around. Our building is a simple one, nothing too flashy or complicated. We focus on the younger kids mostly. The mornings start early when the vans pull up and the little ones hop out with their heavy bags. It can get a bit loud in the hallways, but that is expected with children. We have a few rooms set up for different activities, though they mostly look like any other classroom you have seen. The walls have some paint peeling in spots, but we try to fix it when we have the time. It is a local place for local people. Most of the staff live nearby and walk to work. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look on paper; we just focus on the day-to-day tasks. When it rains, the street outside gets a bit muddy, so we tell the kids to be careful. It’s a very standard setup for this part of town. We are just a small part of the F Block community, and we like it that way. No big speeches, just a school doing its work every day.
