H. B. Engineering Co.

Being out at the 38th Milestone on Behrampur Road puts us a bit away from the main city hub. We are in Village Khandsa, which has its own pace. H. B. Engineering Co. isn't a place with glass walls or air conditioning in every room. It’s an engineering shop, plain and simple. We have a lot of heavy tools and parts scattered around the floor. It gets dusty because of the road outside, and the trucks passing by don't help with the noise. We’ve spent many years working on various mechanical jobs. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our tea, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write nice things about us. It’s just us and the machines. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time. They are reliable, and we know how they handle. The village has grown around us, but the way we do things hasn't changed that much. We take the blueprints, we do the cutting or the welding, and we check it ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work and getting your hands dirty. That is just part of the life here at the milestone. We don't mind the hard work as long as the job is finished. It's nothing special, just what we do every single day. We like the quiet of the village too.
