Era Infra Engineering Ltd, New Delhi

We are based at House No-112, right across from H-Block in Palam Vihar. It’s technically in Gurgaon, even though we handle things for the broader New Delhi area too. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It gives it a very different feel than a typical office building. It’s a bit more relaxed, though we still work hard. We focus on engineering and infrastructure projects. Most of our time is spent on the computer or on the phone coordinating with people at the sites. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just see someone at a desk surrounded by stacks of paper. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. We like being in Palam Vihar because it’s a bit quieter than the main city center. It lets us concentrate on the technical stuff without too much distraction. We are just a local team doing our best to keep up with the project schedules. There is nothing corporate about how we operate. We just handle the engineering tasks as they come. It’s a practical way to work, and it’s served us well so far. We know the area well and have been here for quite some time. We’re just regular people doing an honest day's work in a house turned office. It isn't perfect, but it is where we do our best engineering thinking.
