Emerson

We are up on the 18th floor of Towers B&C in DLF Building No. 5. It’s right in the middle of Cyber City, Phase III. If you’ve ever been to Cyber Terraces, you know it’s a lot of glass, steel, and people in a hurry. It feels very different from the small shops you see on the ground. Even though it's a big, fancy building, inside the Emerson office, we are just a bunch of regular people trying to get through the day's tasks. The view from the 18th floor is something else, but most of the time we are just focused on our desks. The elevators can take a long time during the morning rush, so we usually just deal with the crowd. It’s a very busy part of the city. We don't really do the whole corporate talk even if the building looks like we should. We just talk normally to each other. It’s a lot of paperwork and digital files to keep track of. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. It’s a clean office, but it feels lived-in because we spend so much of our time here. Cyber City is always moving, and sometimes it feels like we are just one small part of a giant machine. We don't have any mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home like everyone else. It’s a job in a big tower.
