We are located out in Village Harsaru, near the post office in the Gurgaon district. It’s a bit of a change from the high-rise buildings and malls you see in the main part of the city. Out here, the air feels a little different and the pace is a bit slower, though the industrial activity nearby keeps things moving. Dlf Laingorourke India Ltd. has a practical setup here. It’s a functional space where the focus is strictly on the work. We deal with a lot of movement and logistics, and being close to the Garhi Harsaru area helps with that. The office itself is pretty basic—just enough room for the team to sit and handle the paperwork that comes with running a business like ours. There’s quite a bit of dust because of the roads and the nearby railway tracks, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We don't have any fancy receptionists or high-end furniture. Most of our chairs are old, and the desks have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. We spend our time coordinating with people on the phone or checking in on how things are progressing on various sites. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People around the village know us as the folks who are always busy with their papers and phones, and that’s just fine with us. We just try to get through the day without too much trouble.
