Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Ltd.

We are based on the ground floor of 50 Jacranda Marg in Gurgaon. Being on the ground floor is really convenient because we don't have to wait for the elevators in the morning. Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Ltd. has been at this address for a while. Gurgaon is a fast-paced city, but our street is slightly tucked away from the main madness of the highway. The office itself is pretty basic and functional. We have a few desks and a small area for files and blueprints. It’s where we do all the heavy lifting for our projects in terms of planning and logistics. It isn't a showy place. We have some plants in the corner that we sometimes forget to water, but they seem to survive anyway. The team is mostly people who live nearby in Haryana. We walk in or take short commutes on our bikes. We don't really go for the corporate lifestyle. No one here is trying to climb a ladder; we just want to get the job done and go home to our families. We talk about regular things like the weather or the cricket scores. When we have work to do, we just put our heads down and do it. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no marketing department here or anything like that. Just us, some computers, and a lot of lists to get through. It’s a decent place to work and it serves us well for our daily needs.
