Dav Public School

This school is located right in Sector 49, specifically in Block S along Sohna Road. Being in Uppal South End means we get a lot of families from the surrounding residential blocks. The area is quite busy, especially in the mornings when the buses are moving and parents are trying to beat the traffic. We have a decent-sized building with several floors to fit all the different grades. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, with stairs and corridors connecting the different wings. The classrooms have the standard desks and boards you’d expect. On most days, you can hear the sound of teachers talking or the occasional scuff of chairs being moved. Outside, there’s some space for the kids to get fresh air, though it’s not as quiet as the countryside since Sohna Road is always active. We deal with the usual day-to-day stuff, like fixing a leaky tap or making sure the gate stays closed when it’s supposed to. People around here choose us because we’re close to their homes and it’s easy to get to. We don’t do a lot of shouting about what we do, we just open the doors every morning and get on with the teaching. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a place this size, but the staff handles it well enough. Parents often stop by the office to settle fees or ask about the next holiday break. It’s just a normal part of life in this part of town.
