Chinar Junction

Chinar Junction is located on Old Railway Road in Sector 28. It is a place that stays fairly busy because of the traffic moving toward the station. We’ve got a simple setup here where we serve a variety of things. Most of the day is spent prepping vegetables and making sure the stove is ready. We don't have much in the way of decor, just some sturdy tables and chairs for whoever stops by. The road outside is often loud with trucks and buses honking. It can get pretty dusty too so we are always wiping things down. We see a lot of commuters who are in a hurry to catch their trains. They usually want something quick that they can eat on the go. We also have some regulars from the nearby houses who come in when they don't feel like cooking at home. It’s just a handful of us working here and we try to keep things moving. Sometimes we have a bit of a wait when a large group comes in all at once. We don't use any fancy ordering systems, just a pen and paper mostly. It’s an honest way to make a living and we like being part of this busy street. We try to keep the water cooler filled up because it gets very dry and hot in the afternoons.
