Chhikara Industries

Our place at Plot No. 913 in Sector 37, Phase 2 is where we do all our manufacturing. Chhikara Industries started out small, and even though we've grown a bit, it still feels like a small shop. The floor is usually covered in some dust and the machines are always humming. We spend most of our time out there making sure the parts are coming out the way they should. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or oiling the gears. That’s just part of the job. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably find one of us with grease on our hands. We do metal work and various industrial parts for other companies in the area. Sector 37 is a busy spot, lots of trucks coming and going all day. We’ve been at this for a long time now. We don't bother with fancy brochures or slick talk. We just show people what we've made and let that be it. Most of our tools have been with us since the start. It's a bit noisy and the coffee is usually cold by the time we get to it, but the work is steady. We like being in Phase 2 because the neighbors are all doing similar work, so we help each other out with tools sometimes. We stay busy and keep our heads down.
