You can find Chandra Engineers at Plot No. 279 in Sector 7 of IMT Manesar. Manesar is a huge industrial area and we are just one small part of it. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by factories and trucks all day long. Our unit is pretty standard for this area. We have the shop floor where the machines are and a small cabin for the paperwork. It’s always a bit noisy with the fans and the equipment running. We do engineering work for various clients, mostly other companies in the sector. The shifts can be long, especially when we have a big order to finish on time. We don’t have a fancy canteen, so we usually just bring our lunch from home and eat together on the benches. The dust in Manesar can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to it after working here. We don't have a marketing team or a polished image. We just focus on the technical side of things. Most of us here are more comfortable with a wrench than a computer. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the industrial estate. Traffic gets bad during shift changes, so we try to plan our day around that. It’s a hardworking environment and we just fit right into the middle of it.
