Our workplace is on the second floor of House Number 33 in Ganapati Enclave. It is part of the Housing Board Colony in Sector 15, Gurgaon. It is a bit of an unusual spot for a company, but it suits us just fine. We do not need a massive skyscraper to do our engineering work. The office feels more like a house because it kind of is. We have got desks set up where the living areas would be. It makes for a different kind of atmosphere than a typical corporate park. It is usually pretty busy here. We deal with a lot of the logistical and design work that goes into big infrastructure projects. There is a lot of back-and-forth communication, lots of spreadsheets, and plenty of tea. We are not really into the whole corporate culture thing. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the street outside is noisy with traffic or people shouting, but we have gotten used to it. It is a practical place to be. We appreciate the fact that we can just get on with things without too much fuss from anyone. People who work here live nearby mostly, so we have a bit of a local feel. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but we do our part to keep the projects on track. It is just how we operate in this corner of Sector 15.
