Basant Valley Global School

Our place, Basant Valley Global School, is tucked away in Block C of Sector 49, right by Ghasola. If you know where Rosewood City Road is, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for some time now. The school has its own gate and a bit of space for the buses to pull in. Every morning, the traffic gets a little tight around here when parents drop off their kids. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of classes and teachers talking. We have different floors for different age groups, and the hallways are usually full of drawings or charts the kids made. It’s not a quiet library atmosphere, but it’s not too loud either. A good chunk of our time goes into making sure everything runs okay, like checking the lights or fixing a broken chair. The staff room is usually where we drink our tea and talk about the day’s plans. We aren't trying to be anything other than a good local school for the families living in the nearby apartments. We have a small library where the books are a bit worn from so many hands touching them, but that's a good sign. The hallways are narrow, and you have to watch your step when the classes are changing. We also have a small area for sports, though it’s not a full stadium. On rainy days, the kids stay inside and play board games in the classrooms. The local shops nearby know our staff, and we often see parents grabbing a quick snack at the corner.
