Aravali Public School

Aravali Public School is based at House No 35 in Sector-14. It’s a residential area, so the school has a very local, neighborly feel to it. We started out in a smaller way and have grown over the years to fill the space we have. Sector-14 is a quiet part of town, which is good for the students because there isn't too much noise from the main roads. The building is essentially a large house that we’ve converted into a school. It has a yard where the kids can play and several rooms that serve as classrooms for different grades. We like the fact that it doesn't feel like a big, cold institution. It’s more like a home for learning. Our staff consists of people who live nearby, and we’ve known many of the families for a long time. We handle everything ourselves, from the teaching to the maintenance of the property. If a lightbulb goes out or a desk gets wobbly, we’re the ones fixing it. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just provide a place for kids to come and get their education in a safe environment. It’s a very practical operation. Every morning we open the doors and get ready for the day ahead. It’s just how we’ve been doing things for years here in Sector-14. We don't have a big office, just this place.
