We are over here at 899/2 near the Acharya Purimamta Hospital in Gurugram. Anra Schools Of Creativity Private Limited started because we wanted to have a place where people could just make things. It’s a busy spot in town but inside we try to keep things focused on the work. Some days it gets pretty loud when everyone is working on a new project. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical space where the creative stuff happens. We deal with all sorts of things related to learning and making art or whatever someone has in mind. The traffic near the hospital can be a bit much in the mornings so we usually start a bit later or just settle in early. Most of the people who come here are from around the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time just figuring out how to teach better without making it feel like a regular boring school. It's mostly about getting your hands dirty and trying stuff out. We’ve been at this for a while now. Sometimes the internet acts up but we manage to get the lessons done. Gurugram is growing fast and we are just happy to be part of this little corner of it. There’s always someone dropping by to ask what we do. We tell them it's about being creative and they usually nod and smile. That’s how it goes here every day. We don't have any big secrets. Just a lot of paint and paper and ideas lying around.
