You can find us in the village of Sirsal, which is in the Pundari Tehsil of Kaithal district in Haryana. Being a V.P.O. location, we are right in the heart of the rural area. It’s a different world out here compared to the big city offices. The air is clearer, but the work is just as tough. We manage the Ultratech Concrete supplies for the farms and small towns around this part of Kaithal. The office is pretty basic, just a room with some desks and a computer that we use to track the loads. Most of our day involves talking to local builders who are working on barns or new village houses. We usually sit outside when the weather is good because the office can get a bit stuffy. There is always someone dropping by for a chat or to ask about a delivery. We don't have any formal receptionists or anything like that. If you walk in, you just talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. The roads around Sirsal can be a bit rough for the trucks, especially after the monsoon, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the tires. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we just focus on moving concrete and keeping the records straight for the day. We usually finish up when the sun starts to go down and the village gets quiet for the night.
