Jain Traders

Jain Traders is located at Shop-732/6 in Sadar Bazar. If you know the area, we are right opposite the Deepmala Saree Showroom. It’s a very crowded part of Gurgaon 01, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping for their homes. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with stock. Sometimes it’s hard to even find a place to sit down because there are crates and boxes everywhere. We trade in a bit of everything that people might need for their houses or small businesses. I spend most of my day talking to customers, bargaining a little, and writing out receipts by hand. It’s noisy outside with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but that’s just Sadar Bazar for you. We don't have a big fancy display. We just show people what we have in the back or up on the shelves. My family has been doing this for a long time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Gurgaon. We just want to have what people are looking for when they walk in. Some days it’s so busy you can’t breathe, and other days we just sit and watch the people go by across the street at the saree showroom. It’s a simple life but it keeps us on our feet. We just take it one customer at a time and try to stay organized.
