We spend most of our time here at Galleria Towers in Gurgaon. It’s on the sixth floor, number 628 to be exact. DLF Phase 4 is always a bit crowded, especially during lunch hours when everyone comes out to the mall nearby. We have some computers, desks that are rarely clean, and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. Mostly, we just work on different media projects. It’s not a big fancy operation, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing and other days we’re just staring at screens for hours. It gets noisy outside because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the office has started to feel like a second home, for better or worse. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, ordering food from downstairs. The elevators in this building are always slow, so we end up waiting around a lot. It’s just how it is. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anything, just a door with our name on it. If you’re ever in the area near the towers, you’ll see how busy this part of Gurgaon is. We like it though. It keeps us on our toes and there is always something happening right outside.
