Gujrat Tent House

We are located over in New Colony at 77-R. Gujrat Tent House is basically a hub for all the local events that happen around here. If someone is having a prayer meeting or a big family dinner, they usually stop by to see what we have available. We have stacks of carpets, colorful drapes, and hundreds of those folding chairs. It’s a bit of a maze in the warehouse sometimes. We spend a lot of time loading up the carts and making sure we haven't forgotten the little things like the ropes or the decorative lights. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we have a rhythm. We know which streets in New Colony are too narrow for the big trucks. It’s a neighborhood business, really. We see people at their happiest, like at weddings, and also during more somber times. We just provide the physical space for those moments to happen. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to rush out to fix a canopy that’s sagging from the rain. It’s physical, tiring work but it feels good to see a finished setup looking right. We don’t do much advertising. People just know where we are because we’ve been at 77-R for so long. We just take the orders, deliver the stuff, and pick it up when the party is over. It’s a cycle that repeats every week, and we are just glad to be part of the community.
