You can find Ahuja Store in Madan Puri, specifically down Gali No 7. We are mostly known for the Ahuja Atta Chaki that we run right here. The sound of the grinding stones is something the neighbors have heard for years. We grind fresh flour for people who bring their own grain or buy it from us. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and we haven't seen much reason to change it. The shop is often covered in a thin layer of white flour dust, no matter how much we clean. Along with the flour, we keep general grocery items like lentils, spices, and tea. It is a small family-run business, and we’ve lived in this area for a long time. People come to us because they want flour that hasn't been sitting in a plastic bag on a supermarket shelf for months. We know most of our customers by their first names and how they like their grain ground. Gali No 7 is a narrow street, so it can get a bit tight when we are unloading sacks of wheat. We don't have a big sign or any lights, just the work we do every day. It’s simple, honest, and it keeps the community fed. We just focus on keeping the machine running and the bags filled for whoever walks through the door. Some days are slow, but usually, there's always someone coming in with a bag of wheat.
