Smart Mobile

It is pretty loud here on Old Delhi Road most days. The traffic in Dundahera never really stops and you can hear the horns from inside the shop all afternoon. We have been at this spot for a while now. Most people know where Smart Mobile is because we are right on the main stretch. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction going on nearby so we are always wiping down the glass counters. Someone is usually sitting on the stool by the door waiting for a screen fix or asking about a new cable. It is not a very big space but we fit everything in somehow. Boxes of chargers and cases are stacked up in the back corner. We spend a lot of time just talking to the regulars who drop by to ask about their bills or why their battery is dying so fast. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just sit there in the dark until the backup kicks in. It is just part of being in this area. We handle a lot of different phones every day. Some are old and held together with tape while others are brand new. There is always something to do, like organizing the SIM cards or making sure the display lights are working right. By the time evening rolls around and the street lights come on, the road gets even busier. We just keep going until it is time to pull the shutter down.
