Our office is in Tower 8 of Millennium Plaza Towers, over in Sushant Lok 1. We’re in Unit 206 on the second floor. It’s a pretty standard office building, but the location is handy for us. We work on exhibitions, which means we’re often out of the office more than we’re in it. There’s a lot of back-and-forth planning that goes into setting up a trade show. We spend our days talking to contractors and checking floor plans. It’s a lot of staring at spreadsheets and hoping the shipping containers arrive on time. We’ve been doing this in India for a while now. The team isn't massive, but we know our way around the industry. Sushant Lok is a busy area, but once you’re inside the tower, it’s relatively quiet. We try to keep things grounded. There’s no point in making things sound more complicated than they are. We just organize spaces for people to show off their products. It involves a lot of phone calls and emails. Sometimes things go smoothly, other times we have to deal with power cuts or last-minute changes. We just take it as it comes. The office is a bit messy with old banners and badges from past shows. We don’t mind. It feels like a place where work actually gets done. It’s a practical job for practical people. We aren't here to reinvent the wheel, just to make sure the event happens at Singex Exhibition India.
