Samsung

Located down on the lower ground floor at L/G-4 in Sushant Lok, Sector 54, our little Samsung spot is fairly easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. It is a quiet part of the building. Most of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood. They bring in their phones or tablets when something goes wrong or when they just can't figure out a setting. I’ve spent a lot of time sitting at the main desk, looking out at the hallway. It’s not a huge showroom like the ones you see in the big malls, but we have what people need. We focus on the practical stuff. If a screen is broken, we tell you what it costs. If the battery is dead, we swap it out. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you are looking at tiny electronic parts. Sometimes we get people who are just frustrated with their gadgets, and we have to spend a while explaining things. It’s part of the job. The building itself is older, and you can hear the pipes sometimes, but it is a comfortable place to work. I like that I don't have to commute very far to get here. We keep a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s a simple, local operation where we know many of our customers by their first names. We try to be honest about the repair times too.
