Samrat Tent House

Samrat Tent House is located on Alwar Road in Badshahpur, right on the main Sohna stretch. This is a busy road with lots of trucks and cars passing through at all hours. We handle tents, chairs, and all the stuff you need for a gathering or an event. It’s heavy work, mostly loading and unloading big bundles of fabric and metal poles. Our storage space is usually full of stacked chairs and rolled-up carpets. When a big wedding season comes around, we are barely ever in the shop because we are out at sites setting things up. It’s tiring, but we’re used to it. The weather is our biggest worry; rain or strong wind can make a lot of trouble for our setups. We’ve been in Badshahpur for a long time and know the local grounds and community halls well. The shop itself is mostly where we talk to people and figure out the dates. It’s not a fancy office, just a place with a desk and some photos of past setups. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth in Sohna works better anyway. People know where we are if they have a function coming up. We just keep our equipment in good shape and show up when we are supposed to. That’s how we’ve always done it. It is hard work, especially in the summer heat, but it keeps us going throughout the year.
