We are based in Sector 10A of Gurgaon, specifically in the Deepmala Apartment at number 22. It’s a bit of a different setup compared to the big glass towers you see in other parts of the city. Being in an apartment block makes it feel a bit more like a home office than a corporate headquarters. Sakaal Media Group is busy all the time because the news never really stops. There is always someone typing away or on the phone trying to get a story confirmed. The desks are usually piled high with old newspapers, magazines, and notebooks. It’s a bit cramped when the whole team is in at the same time, but we make it work. We have people coming in for interviews or to drop off photos, so there’s a lot of activity near the door. The coffee machine is probably the most important piece of equipment we have, especially during late-night deadlines. Gurgaon is a fast-moving place, and we’re right in the middle of it. We don't spend much time on fancy decor; the walls are mostly covered in calendars and maps. It’s just a group of people working hard to get the information out every day. Sometimes it’s stressful, but there is always something new happening to keep us interested. We just try to get the facts right and meet our daily deadlines.
