Sahara Communication

Sahara Communication is at New Railway Road 390/1. Being near the railway means there is always a lot of movement nearby. If you listen closely, you can hear the trains, but the street noise usually covers it up. At number 390/1, our shop is a simple setup for phones and talk. Racks of SIM cards and all kinds of cables hang on the walls. When the shop gets full of people wanting to recharge their data or buy a cover, it’s a bit of a squeeze. Small electronics and gadgets fill our glass counter. The yellow light in here makes the place feel warm even when it’s cold outside. We spend a lot of time explaining things to people who aren't sure how their new phone works. Flashy things aren't for us; it’s a practical business. Since there are always people walking past, New Railway Road is a good place to be. Staying on top of the dust is hard with all the wind and traffic, even though we try to keep the front tidy. Plastic chairs are there for people who have to wait for a bit. Over the years, we have seen the road change quite a lot. It’s just a regular shop doing regular things for the neighborhood people who need help with their mobile connections. We stay open late most nights to catch those heading home from work.
