Reliance Electronics

Gopal Nagar Main Road is always moving and being at number 218 puts us right in the middle of it all. At Reliance Electronics, we have a lot of stuff packed into the aisles. You have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the back. There are boxes of ceiling fans stacked near the entrance and the light bulbs are all lined up on the side wall. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months because the front door stays open most of the day. We have a couple of old fans spinning away but they mostly just move the hot air around. Most of the people who come in are neighbors from the local streets who need a new plug or a battery. We know a lot of them by name since they have been coming here for years. The floor is made of old tile that has some cracks in it but it holds up fine. We spend a lot of time testing wires and making sure things work before people take them home. It is not fancy by any means. There is a small desk where we keep the ledger and a calculator that has seen better days. When the rain starts, we have to move the outdoor displays inside quickly so they don't get soaked. It is just a regular shop doing regular things on a busy road. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone is taken care of.
