Raj Mahal Garden

Our garden is situated right opposite C-1 in Palam Vihar. It is an open space that we spend a lot of time maintaining. Most days involve a lot of grass cutting, sweeping up leaves, and making sure the boundary walls look okay. It is a fairly large area for this part of Gurgaon, so there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. When there is a function happening, the place looks completely different with all the lights and people. But when it is empty, it is just us and the maintenance work. We have a gate that looks out onto the street, and we see the local traffic passing by all day. We handle the bookings and show people around when they are looking for a place for their family events. It’s not a fancy corporate venue, just a solid outdoor space where people can gather. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to worry about the mud or the decorations getting wet. We have a small team that helps with the upkeep and the setup for each event. It is a lot of routine work, like checking the electrical points and making sure the water supply is working. We just stay focused on keeping the garden ready for the next group that comes in.
