Out on Jharsa Road, specifically in Friends Colony at 59/18, that’s where PS Commmunication is located. It is more of a residential neighborhood, so things are a bit quieter here than in the big commercial hubs. The shop is right on the street level, and I’ve got a small bench outside where people can sit if they are waiting for a quick repair. I spend my time mostly surrounded by tangled wires and various plastic parts for mobile phones. The walls are painted a pale blue, though the paint is starting to peel a little near the corners. I have a small television set high up on a shelf, but I rarely turn it on because there is always something to do or someone to talk to. Customers usually come by in the evenings after they finish their own jobs, so that is when it gets the busiest. I’ve lived in this area for a while, so I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. We talk about the local news or the potholes on Jharsa Road while I try to figure out why their phone screen is flickering. It is just a regular job in a regular part of town. I don't have any assistants, so I do everything myself from cleaning the floor to handling the accounts in a thick ledger book. It keeps me busy enough from morning until night.
