Om Traders

Om Traders is right in the Mission School Market on New Railway Road. It’s a loud, vibrant place to have a shop. We deal in various goods, mostly hardware and general supplies that people need for their homes or small projects. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we have to use a ladder that’s a bit wobbly. We’ve been meaning to fix that ladder for months. The market gets very crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping. You can hear the bells from the school and the cycles passing by constantly. Our floor is always a bit dusty because of the foot traffic. We don't have a corporate office or a "vision." We just have stuff people need to buy. If you want a specific bolt or a certain type of paint, we probably have it buried somewhere. Finding things is half the fun. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we trade chai for some supplies. It’s a community. We don't spend time on fancy displays. Things are just stacked where they fit. If you're looking for Om Traders, just head towards the Mission School and you’ll see us in the market. We’re usually the ones moving heavy crates around or helping someone measure out some wire.
