Our office, Magical Holidays Pvt Ltd, is right across from the government school in Sushant Lok Phase I. It’s a nice enough spot, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare when the school lets out in the afternoon. We spend our days looking at maps and flight schedules on our screens. It’s not as magical as the name sounds—mostly it’s just us on the phone trying to get someone a better hotel room or figuring out why a train is delayed. We’ve been at C-410 C(A) for a few years now. The walls are covered with posters of places we’d like to go ourselves if we weren't so busy. We aren't a big travel chain; we’re just a few people who like helping others plan their trips. We know which routes are better and which hotels are actually clean because we’ve heard it all from our customers over time. We don’t use fancy booking software that does everything for us; we still like to check things manually to make sure there are no mistakes. Sometimes we stay late when a client is stuck at an airport somewhere, but that’s part of the job. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We just want to make sure people have a decent time when they go away. No big promises, just a lot of checking and re-checking details so things go smoothly.
