Madan Disposable Crockery House

Our shop is tucked away at P/23/90 on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg in Connaught Place. Being in CP means we see all sorts of people walking by. Madan Disposable Crockery House is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes of paper plates, plastic cups, and wooden spoons. It isn't a fancy showroom by any means. It’s more of a place where people come when they are planning a big party or running a food stall and need supplies in bulk. We spend a lot of time counting out packets and stacking boxes so they don't fall over. The space is tight, and we often have to move three things just to get to one. We don't do any big advertising. Most people find us because they were told about us by someone else or they just saw our sign while walking to the metro. It gets busy during the festival times when everyone is hosting events. We are just a few regular people working here, trying to keep track of the inventory. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic in this part of town, which can be a real pain. We just do our best to keep the shelves stocked with what’s in demand. It’s a simple business of providing the things people use once and then throw away. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now and know the area well.
