Our office is in the big Infinity Tower C, up on the 9th floor. This is in DLF Cyber City, Phase 2 in Gurgaon. It is a very busy place, totally different from our plant locations. There are elevators everywhere and people are always in a big rush. We share the space with Heidelberg Cement. Even though it is a big corporate area, our day-to-day work is actually pretty mundane. We sit in our cubicles and deal with a lot of data and logistics. The view from the 9th floor is just other tall buildings and a lot of cars on the road below. Traffic in Gurgaon is a nightmare, so we are all usually complaining about how long it took to get to work in the morning. The air conditioning is always on, and sometimes it’s actually too cold so we keep sweaters at our desks. We have a small pantry where we get coffee and tea. It is a very modern building, but inside we are just a bunch of people trying to get through the workday. We don't really do the fancy corporate culture thing; we just do our jobs. There is a lot of security at the front gate, which is a bit of a hassle every day. It is a high-paced environment outside, but we try to keep our corner of the office calm and steady. We just stick to our tasks and head home when the clock hits five.
