We are set up in the C S Market over in Naharpur Roopa, right near National Highway 8. It’s a noisy area with all the trucks and cars passing by constantly. We’ve been in this little corner for a good bit of time. The shop is mostly filled with mobile accessories and recharge vouchers hanging everywhere. It’s a bit cramped inside when more than three people walk in at once. We spend the morning sweeping out the dust that blows in from the highway. It’s a never-ending job, honestly. People stop in while they’re traveling or coming home from work in the village. We handle a lot of recharges and small repairs. The light in the back flickers sometimes, and we keep meaning to fix it. Usually, there’s a cricket match on the small TV if things are slow. We know most of the guys running the other shops in the market. We eat our lunch in the back room while watching the traffic. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our business. Sometimes we run out of specific chargers, and people have to wait a day or two. We just tell it like it is. No point in making promises we can't keep. It’s just us here every day, dealing with the noise and the phones. We keep the doors open even when it’s hot because the breeze helps a little bit.
