Our office is tucked away in the Mangaldeep Apartment building in Mehrauli. We are on the fourth floor, specifically at 1055/A. If you know Mehrauli, you know the streets are old and narrow, filled with history and a lot of noise. Getting up to the fourth floor every day keeps us moving. It isn't a fancy setup with elevators that always work or anything like that. It’s a plain office where we handle the books and talk to contractors. New Delhi is a big place, and being in South Delhi gives us a good central point to manage our regional tasks. The view from up here shows a lot of rooftops and the busy life below. We spend our hours tracking shipments and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but we just get on with it. People usually find us by asking around for Mangaldeep once they reach the main area. We don't do much in the way of decoration; the walls are mostly covered with charts or calendars. It is a practical environment for practical people. Most of us have been working here long enough that the noise of the street doesn't even bother us anymore. We just make sure the cement orders are handled properly and the paperwork is filed away as it should be. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a quick word, and we keep things moving as usual without any pretense.
