We’re located right inside the D T Cinema Building. Most people around here use the cinema as a landmark, so it’s pretty easy to explain where we are. J M D Events has been based here for a while now. It’s an interesting place to work because you get the smell of popcorn sometimes and there’s always a bit of energy in the air from people coming to see movies. Our space is tucked away from the main lobby, so it’s a bit quieter where we actually sit. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners—boxes and bags from different things we’ve been working on. It’s not the most organized office in the world, if I’m being honest. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we sort through our lists. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should put something up one of these days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things are where they’re supposed to be. When the big movies come out, the whole building gets crowded, and we have to navigate through the lines just to get our lunch. It’s a lively spot to be. We don’t have a big corporate setup, just a few of us trying to stay on top of everything. It’s just our daily routine in a building that everyone knows. Sometimes the elevators are slow, but that's just part of being in an older building.
