Heritage Village (Manesar)

We've been here on the side of National Highway 8 in Manesar for quite some time now. It is a big property with plenty of space around it. You can see the highway traffic from the entrance but once you get inside it feels a lot different. Most people know us because they pass by on their way to or from Delhi. There are trees and paved paths connecting the different parts of the place. We have rooms for staying over and spaces where people hold their family functions or just stop for a meal. The buildings have an older look to them, which is where the name comes from I suppose. It takes a lot of work to keep the gardens green especially when the weather in Haryana gets really dry and hot. We have a staff that handles the day-to-day things like fixing leaks or cleaning the pool. It isn't a quiet library here since the main road is so close, but it serves its purpose for the folks who need a break from driving. The parking area is usually busy with cars and buses. Inside, we have some halls and a dining area. It's just a regular spot in the industrial belt of Manesar where travelers find a place to sit down. We don't try to be something we aren't, just a large village-style setup right on the edge of the highway. It’s a simple operation for the most part.
