Gizmos

Gizmos has been sitting here on M G Road for a good while now. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. We see all sorts of people walking past our window every single day. The shop itself isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and a look at what needs fixing or selling. It’s mostly gadgets and small electronics that people bring in. Sometimes they are frustrated because something stopped working, and we just try to see what can be done. It’s not always easy, especially when parts are hard to find. We’ve grown used to the constant honking of cars outside. It becomes like background noise after a few hours. The neighbors in the shops next door are good people, and we often share a word when things are slow. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us because we’re right here on the main path. Working here means you see the city change as the day goes on. By the time we close up in the evening, the street lights are all on and the crowd is different. It’s just a regular routine for us, keeping the place running and dealing with whatever walks through the door. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local spot for tech stuff that people can rely on when they are in a hurry.
